From their Traditional 1974 album, “Salt Of The Earth”, here is Chuck Brown & The Soul Searchers with “Ashley’s Roachclip”. The horns as effectively as the drum solo in this song has been sampled by Everybody apart from for myself and Jesus! LOLLLL! Here is a couple of names off the best of my head.     There are a list at a site called “whosampled” dot “com” And the list is very long. (smile)
    I believe Eric B. & Rakim made it well loved in the song “Paid In Full”, Milli Vanilli used it in the song “Girl U Know Its Right, and many others.
