Different Paths-Episode 8 (Love Sick, pt. 3) *This is gonna be an interesting episode ;-) Jacqline:(opens MacBook) Lets see (Mumbling to herself while typing something on her computer) (3 HOURS LATER) Jacqline:(excited) I got it! Kevin:(walks over to Jacqline and looks over her shoulder) got what? Jacqline:(looks at Kevin, Joe, Ashley, Chelsea, and Nick) the remedy! All I need are some supplies. Joe:(gets up from couch) what do you need? I can go get the stuff. Kevin:(yawns and stretches) Ill go get some more coffee. Chelsea:(drowsily) Can I sleep now? Jacqline:(happy) Yes you can, Chelsea. (Chelsea falls asleep on the couch she was sitting on) Ashley:(gets up and walks in to the bathroom) Im gonna go brush my teeth. (5 minutes later) Joe:(walks in to room, puts stuff on the table in front of Jacqline) Here you go. Weve got Water; diet Coke, cough syrup, rubbing alcahol, some kind of oxygen peroxide, and a needle. (Shudders as he puts down the needle) Jacqline:(puts on reading glasses) Okay, what first? Joe:(sits down on a bunk) so Jac? What was the needle for? Jacqline:(carefully pouring the oxygen peroxide in to a cup) To inject the remedy. Joe:(surprised) What? Why? Cant we just drink it? Jacqline:(looks at Joe) Look at what Im using. Well throw up before the remedy could even begin to absorb in to our blood stream. Kevin:(walks in) Yeah Joe, take it like a man. (10 minutes later when the remedy was finished) (Joe sitting on the bathroom counter top with sleeve rolled up) Joe:(frightened) is it gonna hurt? Jacqline:(puts rubbing alcahol on a cotton ball and disinfects Joes upper arm) No, its not gonna hurt cuz I know what Im doing. Kevin:(rolling sleeve down) it didnt hurt a bit when Jac gave me the shot. Jacqline:(calmly) Okay Joe, are you ready? Joe:(closes his eyes tightly) Just do it! (Jacqline gives Joe the shot) Joe:(opens one of his eyes) Jac, you can do it any time now. The suspense isnt helping. Kevin:(laughs) Joe, she already did it. Joe:(opens both eyes) Oh! Good. (Jacqline gives herself the shot) Jacqline:(exhales) Okay, now I have to figure out how to boost the remedy to wipe out the condition. (5 minutes later when Nick and Jacqline are alone) (Jacqline walks over to Nick) Jacqline:(writing on a piece of paper) Okay Nick, Ive got the instructions on how to make the remedy. Now, all we need to do is (Nick kisses Jacqline for about 2 minutes) Jacqline:(pulls away, surprised) Nick! Nick:(dazed) How bout a little bit more. (Leans in to kiss Jacqline again) (Jacqline moves Nick falls flat on his face on the bunk) Jacqline:(nervous laugh) Uh, Nick? What are you doing? (Nick gets up from the bunk and closes Jacqline in a corner and tries to kiss her again) (Jacqline gets down and Nick misses her again and follows Jacqline to the other side of the room) (Jacqline backs up, grabs the boosted remedy from a table, and walks towards Nick) (Nick kisses Jacqline and during the kiss Jacqline gives Nick the shot (Nick snaps out of the love bug) Jacqline:(concerned) Nick? How do you feel? Nick:(dizzy) Light-headed? Jacqline:(relieved) Good. Here, why dont you lie down? (Joe walks in) Joe:(looks at Nick sitting on the bed) did you give Nick the shot, Jac? Jacqline:(sits down next to Nick on the bed) Yeah, Nicks back to normal. (The next day on the outside deck) Jacqline:(walking with Nick) I cant believe that you dont remember a thing about what happened. Nick:(walking next to Jacqline, curious) so, what did happen? Jacqline:(laughs) well, long story short, you kissed me once and tried to kiss me twice. (Nick and Jacqline look out to the sun rising over the ocean) (Nick slowly moves his hand towards Jacqlines hand and holds Jacqlines hand) Nick:(exhales) Tonights the Star Light Waltz, are you interested in going with Me? Jacqline:(laughs) Sure, but I only have 1 dress. Nick:(smitten) That dress is perfect for tonight. -THE END- Hows the Star Light Waltz going to go?
